I thought I would take a hiatus from the hiatus to list my thanks this Thanksgiving day.

I am thankful for:
* life
* health (for now)
* having a job where I like the folks I'm with and it's low-stress and i get to work with celebrities
* parents who are okay with this job and are supportive
* responsible, encouraging sister and new brother-in-law
* agreeable roommates
* the nice, comfortable apartment that we share
* being able to read (erudite op-ed articles in the NYTimes and frivolous but relevant US Weekly gossip, alike)
* washer and dryer in my apartment
* this laptop that I am using to blog
* new york friends (both of them)
* new york city
* mothers (see special note)

special note:
mothers are amazing! well, my mom has been very supportive all along with this career change (well, starting from when i was almost crying to her telling her that i hated my other job and couldn't go back). but also, one of my roommates' mom is in town. this morning, she made her son, joe and his roommate, joe (that's me), breakfast. the amazing part was that it was good (nothing fancy or anything) and satisfying, but it's all stuff that's been in my kitchen all along! why couldn't i have made this for myself? moms are awesome at finding random scraps of foods in refrigerators and making full meals out of them!

I am taking a hiatus on this daily log.
Yes, it's an easy "out" for me to neglect my daily duties (since I've already started this hiatus).
I do not care what you think.

Speaking of: I told some of y'all that Stephen Spielberg came into the store the other day. On Monday, he was in a picture in the New York Post with Tom Cruise on the set of War of the Worlds in Newark, NJ wearing the coat he bought at the store! It was not credited, as the picture was just a candid.
